Past Tense Essential Oil For Anxiety And Tension

Past Tense Essential Oil for Anxiety and Tension

Anxiety is characterized by tension. Tense emotional states easily translate to tense muscles. Muscle tension is one of the most common physical symptoms of anxiety. This includes anxiety headaches, back tension and shoulder or neck tension.

You know me! I’m always looking for holistic tools for managing stress and anxiety.  So, I personally tested Past Tense essential oil (from doTerra) to see if it could be a healthy tool for anxiety, emotional upset and tension. Short answer: Yes!

Past Tense essential oil is a blend of Wintergreen, Lavender, Peppermint, Frankincense, Cilantro, Marjoram, Roman Chamomile, Basil, and Rosemary. It contains essential oils which are known for relaxing both body and emotions.

How I Use It

It has a soothing aroma and I found it relaxing when diffused. Past Tense promotes calming and grounding for stress, anxiety and emotional upset.

I also used it topically. When mixed with a carrier oil, I found that it was particularly helpful in reducing headaches within minutes by putting oil at the base of my skull/neck in the occipital area. I also felt relief when rubbing into sore shoulder muscles. I also tried it on an achy back a couple hours before bedtime and felt that it did promote a calm and comfortable night’s sleep.

I have added Past Tense Essential Oil to my holistic toolkit for stress, anxiety and tension. You may enjoy checking it out!
