Less Stress Now: The UltraBath
Dr. Mark Hyman (famous functional medicine doctor) named this “The UltraBath.” I’m actually not usually a bath person but this one calms me down so much it makes it worth the time and effort:
Add 2 cups of Epsom salt (which is made of magnesium, the relaxation mineral), one half-cup of baking soda, and 10 drops of lavender oil (which lowers cortisol) to a hot bath. Turn down the lights (maybe even light a candle!) and soak for 20 minutes. If you’re like me you’ll want to stay in longer!
