
Ignore the Shoulding

Who is shoulding on you? Think about how you feel when someone says “You should…” What goes through your mind? How does your body respond? Does self-doubt or anxiety creep in? My best advice: The only thing we really should do is ignore all the shoulding!
And the only thing worse than someone shoulding on you, is you shoulding on yourself. This is guaranteed to keep you anxious, tense, and feeling bad about yourself.
How much happier could you be without all that shoulding??
