Exercise – but what kind and how much?

Researchers from Yale University looked at more than a million adults and found these forms of exercise had the greatest effect in terms of anxiety and depression that contribute to our mental health:

1. Team sports
2. Cycling (outdoors or indoor spinning)
3. Aerobics

 

How much? 45 minutes three to five times a week produced the best results.
